Do we have to post the house rules?

The LGCA requires organizations to ensure house rules are available for each media bingo event. We recommend that house rules be posted at each sales location as well as either printed on the cards themselves or included with each card purchased.

How should we handle media bingo product short shipments and/or damaged paper?

Organizations must contact the LGCA to let us know. The LGCA follows exactly what you have purchased as recorded inventory on your financial reports, so it is important to notify us of any large damages or missing product. Can promotional prizes be given away?

Yes, promotional prizes are allowed if approved by the LGCA. Licensees must not require patrons to purchase media bingo product to be eligible to win promotional prizes.

Media bingo events can be advertised only in Manitoba and you cannot advertise your media bingo until your licence is approved. Can we apply for one licence to hold several raffles?

Yes. If you want to run ongoing draws (e.g. 50/50 draws every Friday) you would be issued a one-year licence that would cover all those specific draws. Organizations wanting to run several different types of raffles such as a 50/50 or players’ choice throughout the year must apply for each licence individually.
