This licence authorizes the operator of a dining room to serve liquor. A kitchen must operate on site and the kitchen must be in operation at all times when the licensed premises is open. The kitchen must be stocked with sufficient food and supplies to prepare the items on the menu.
This type of licence allows minors to be present in the premises, but has restrictions around seating. A licensee may sell liquor for consumption without a meal only if at least half of the seating in the dining room is available for persons ordering a meal or who have eaten a meal.

Dining room licensees must comply with the terms and conditions set by the LGCA. This includes our general service terms and conditions as well as those specific to dining rooms.
Licensees must also comply with legislation, regulations and any requirements or conditions placed on the licence.
