Charitable Financial Reporting
NEW: As of April 1, 2023, the licence fee for most charitable gaming activities decreases from 1.5% to 1%.
Details are as follows:
- Raffles and Texas hold’em poker tournaments with gross revenues of more than $10,000, and bingos, media bingos, Calcutta auctions and sports drafts are subject to a licence fee of 1.0% of gross revenue to be submitted with the required financial reports.
- This change has no effect on raffles and Texas hold'em poker tournaments with gross revenues of $10,000 or less. They continue to not be subject to licence fees.
- Monte Carlo event fees are unchanged with a licence fee of $5 per game to be submitted with the licence application.
Charitable gaming event licensees that expect to generate more than $10,000 in gross revenue must submit financial reports to the LGCA.
Electronic Reporting
The LGCA has made it easy for licensees to submit financial reports electronically. The electronic reporting tool (ERT) is a user-friendly Microsoft Excel file that works on Windows and looks just like our paper financial report forms, yet is simpler and faster to complete because of built-in calculations, validation features and help boxes. The ERT is designed to be submitted by email, which eliminates the need for signatures.
Download and save the tool below to your computer.
For help downloading the ERT, see the guide.
